9th Wonder Tries To Increase Chances of Nas Placement

In this video 9th Wonder demos a recent beat that he submitted for an upcoming Nas album. The beat is decent...But you have to wonder, does it actually hurt or help his chances of a landing a placement with Nas. I mean, part of the lure of a new album is NOT having heard the 'new' beats already. But on the other hand, anticipation might build up around what Nas does with this beat. In that case then this will prove to have been a genius marketing ploy by 9th Wonder. (9th is real, so I hope it works out for him...)

Just Blaze Breaks Down "All The Above;" Dispels Beat-Jack Accusation

Beat-jacking is a hazard of the beatmaking/production game. Accusations regularly fly whenever a well-known beatmaker/producer scores a hit. Such is the case with the song "All The Above" by Maino featuring T-Payne, produced by Just Blaze. To be fair, I've never heard of beatmaker/producer Total Chaos -- the accuser, nor have I heard the beat that he has apparently claimed was jacked. However, in the following video, Just Blaze breaks down the evolution of "All The Above", while seemingly clearing himself from all beat-jacking accusations.
